A MAN in his eighties was transported to hospital after a car and truck collided at Logan Village about 10.15am on Tuesday.
A Queensland Ambulance Services said the man who was in the car had leg injuries.
Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to rescue him from the car.
He was transported in a stable condition to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Police said the forensic crash unit was investigating.

A MAN in his eighties has been released from a vehicle after becoming trapped when a car and truck collided at Logan Village on Tuesday.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesperson said the man’s legs were trapped.
They were preparing to transport him to hospital.
The crash occurred about 10.15am.
EARLIER
EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a crash involving a car and truck on Anzac Avenue, at the intersection with Albert Street, Logan Village.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesperson said paramedics were assessing a man in his eighties.
Police said Anzac Avenue was closed and asked motorists to avoid the area if possible.
