Camp Cable Road crash involving multiple vehicles

FIVE vehicles have been involved in a crash on Camp Cable Road, Jimboomba, with multiple people suffering injuries as a result.

The accident occurred shortly before 9am near the intersection with Virginia Way.

Emergency services attended the scene, where six adults and four children were assessed by paramedics.

Two people were subsequently transported to hospital, one to Princess Alexandra Hospital and the other to the Mater.

Camp Cable Road was closed for approximately an hour as a result, but has since reopened, according to police.

All the vehicles were cars, and one was pulling a trailer. One car was reported by police to have been on its roof after the incident.

All occupants of the vehicles were able to extricate themselves before emergency services arrived.

Safety issues were raised about Camp Cable Road after a woman sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on June 5.
