The Jimboomba Redbacks under 15s girls made the most of their last home game of the season with a 103-point win over Mount Gravatt 109-6. On what was a fantastic day for football and playing the middle game of the triple header, the under 15s went about the game with great intensity and the right team attitude. Sharing the load and hard running is what the girls have been working hard on all year and it was great to see the results of their efforts at training on game day. Particularly pleasing was the return of K.J Shiner from injury who played probably her best game of the year. Steff Pottinger, Georgia Payne and Josii Hargreaves attacked the ball well and passed to the right options. Helping out were Grace Parkinson, Ashleigh Hodges and Summer Balmforth from the under 13s, who were solid contributors all day. Goals were again shared, Marni and Phoebe Balmforth kicking five each, with three to Larni Milne, and Olivia Vidoni, Steff, Josii and Keelie Coburn kicking accurately too.
