Following the recent floods in the region Beaudesert Motorcycles and Mowermart are seeing a higher volume of customers presenting with equipment damaged by dirt and water getting into fuel.
If your mower, whipper snipper, chainsaw, chainsaw, ride-on or generator is coughing, spluttering, producing smoke, or simply won’t start, Beaudesert Mowermart’s service centre and factory trained technicians are able to help.
“We can do testing of the fuel to see what has happened,” Mowermart’s Jess Reinke said.
This advertising feature is sponsored by the following business:
“What we suggest is for people to use a fuel stablisier and try to keep equipment off the ground.
“A lot of people don’t know that fuel containers can absorb water and condensation, so it is best to place the fuel up off concrete or a metal bench and put it on a wooden surface.
“Strainers on fuel cans are also a good idea as it can block any mould build up getting into the machine.”
Mowermart technicians can service all makes and models of power equipment, including brands such as Stanley, Rover, EFCO, Gravely, Shindaiwa, Echo and Bush Ranger.
Drop in and see the team for advice and servicing, as well as to check out their range of protective clothing, garden bags, trailers and poisons.
