With the school holidays and a cancelled match due to wet weather, a few lengthy weeks off was not enough to alter the Falcon’s game plan when returning to the field to play against Redlands United FC on Sunday.
They were out to impress in round 14 at their home ground when the first points were scored in the 10th minute by Dylan Adams, followed by another goal at the 19th minute executed by Timothy Angus.
Redlands also found the net in the first half to take the score to a 2-1 lead by the Falcons at half-time.
The second half was packed with action, and two teams battling it out to take home the win and not leave with a level scoreboard being the result from their last encounter.
The Falcons were successful in scoring another three goals by Dylan Adams, Timothy Angus and Trent Castle, while Redlands also managed to find another two, this however was not enough, and the Falcons left the field on top with a 5 -3 win.
They proved yet again that giving up was no option as the team stayed strong, committed and determined.
