Relentless pressure held the Yeronga Devils scoreless as the Jimboomba Redbacks under 15 girls won 94-nil. From the first ball up the Redbacks kicked into gear and kept up their intensity. Yeronga came out and played a hard, physical game and tested the backline setup, but an inspirational performance by the defence ensured the midfielders and forwards had plenty of time with the ball, racking up 29 scoring shots. As always, the goals were shared by many with Olivia Vidoni tallying up four goals, two each to Marni Balmforth and Josii Hargreaves, and singles to Phoebe Balmforth, Jesica Draper, Millie Fergus, Alyssa McKenna and Paris Slater. Standouts were Steff Pottinger, Millie Fergus, Lana VanHeerden and Naomi Ginn, first gamer Lillian Burkin was also a thrill to watch.
