The Jimboomba Redbacks under 15 girls won 66-1 against Kedron in wet and muddy conditions at home.
The sharp skills of the girls were tested all day with the slippery ball hard to grip, but when they did they created scoring opportunities.
Captain Aliesha Alford led by example with hard running and tough work around the packs. Josii Hargreaves won the ball around the ground and pushed it forward and Millie Fergus had a big say in keeping Kedron to a point.
Goal kickers were Aliesha Alford and Paris Slater (2), and one each to Marni Balmforth, Keelie Coburn, Sarah Doyle, Alyssa McKenna, Steff Pottinger and Olivia Vidoni.
Under 9 Black
The under 9 Black team celebrated on Saturday when they came up against a tough Calamvale side and came away with a win for Aston Lyons and James Pottinger, who both celebrated their 50th game with a guard of honour from the under 9 Red team.
The team is improving each week with their marking, hand ball skills, and working as a team with little help from their coaches.
Goals were scored by Aston Lyons, Kaden Griffiths, Lawson Muller, Corey Young, Eli Jansz and Koupa Heenan. Players of the week were Aston Lyons and Toby Muller.
Under 12s
The Redbacks under 12s had another fantastic game in the wet conditions. Their 47-7 win against Kenmore Bears was an awesome display of their skills and team cohesion.
Keoni Dawes, Owen Maquire and Seth Dickerson led from the centre, with Jarrett Wilson in assistance, getting the ball to where it was needed. Goal kickers were Cooper Manning, Jordy Porter, Jarryd Coleman, Jarret Wilson and Owen Maguire.
Under 13s
The under 13s made the 60-kilometre trek to the Aspley Hornets home ground on Sunday. The Redbacks did well to keep up with a bigger opposition.
The Hornets were up by only three points at the end of the first quarter even though the ball remained in their half for most of the period.
Ashleigh Hodges kicked one goal, two behinds and Dakota Ivanisevic also kicked one behind. The score evened up to 3-3-21 to each side in the second quarter.
Strong tackles and great shepherding were executed by the Redbacks players with Mariska Dawes and Mikayla Nurse each kicking a goal.
Aspley started to break away in the third quarter playing a wall which kept the ball down their end.
Mariska Dawes kicked her second goal for the day with the quarter finishing 43 to 21. Lots of position changes were made in the last quarter with Grace Parkinson moving forward.
Grace, with the support of her teammates, kicked two goals. The final score was 9.9.63 to 6.5.41 to Aspley.
