Under 12s
Park Ridge Pirates under 12s hosted Cooparoo on Sunday, needing to win to keep their finals dream alive, they opened up with a strong first quarter kicking three goals and three behinds.
Dominating through the centre, the forwards worked well to convert on the scoreboard.
The second and third quarters were even, although accurate kicking helped keep the Pirates ahead of the game.
The Pirates pulled together in the final quarter, working hard to dominate centre clearances and create forward pressure.
The back line worked well to help the Pirate win 7.8.50 to 3.3.21.
Under 9s
The Park Ridge Pirates under 9s travelled to Yeronga on Saturday, playing a tough team in wet conditions.
With Yeronga dominating the opening minutes of the game, the Pirates then turned on and nullified their attack.
The Pirates worked hard as a team in an inspired effort for the remainder of the match.
Seniors
The Pirates senior side toiled hard all day against coomera but eventually fell 12.17.89- to 5.11.41.
Reserves
The reserves had a great opportunity to get back on the winners list against Coomera but despite having their fair share of the football they were not as polished as their opposition.
Under 14s
The under 14s Pirates emerged victorious from their match with Kenmore by just two points 51-49.
Under 16s
The Park Ridge under 16s defeated Redcliffe in their match 80:48.
