Rockin’ Jimmy’s will be rolling back into Jimboomba on July 8 to celebrate all things rock and roll and hot rods.
There are more than twenty trophies up for grabs in the car and bike show plus a live rockabilly fashion parade.
Proceeds from the day will go back into the St James Anglican Church community fund to assist with various local programs.
In the event’s fourth year, organiser Father Dan Talbot said he hoped to see more than 1400 people through the gates.
“It is all coming together,” he said.
“We have had huge interest from car clubs who will be coming along and individuals who are ready to show off their vehicles as well.”
Car clubs are asked to register their details by heading to rockinjimmys.org.au and individual car entrants can head to the show on the day from 6am.
Fr Talbot said there was something for everyone at the event.
“Not only do we have the car clubs visiting from across south-east Queensland, we also have heard a year one class will be joining us to learn more about history in preparation for next term,” he said.
“We’ve got Little Stevie and the Tail Fins joining us again as well as KJ’s School of Entertainment and the boy band from Emmaus College.
“You don’t have to be into cars to come along, as we have markets and kids land and plenty of food.”
Head to St James Anglican Church, 47-57 East Street, Jimboomba from 8am until 2pm on July 8.
