What is the name of something that begins with the letter G, has two ears and is a fluff-ball of adorableness?
The riddle may be tricky to answer, but it just may be solved by readers of the Jimboomba Times.
A Queensland police spokesperson said a litter of seven six-week-old puppies, who would be trained for police duties, could be named by members of the public.
“We’re asking Queenslanders to get creative and put forward their best G name suggestions,” they said.
“Once old enough, the puppies will undergo training in the hopes of becoming general purpose or drug detection dogs.”
The spokesperson said convention meant every puppy in the litter, comprised of two males and five females, must be given a name beginning with G.
The naming opportunity was launched by Police Minister Mark Ryan and Commissioner Ian Stewart on Thursday, May 22.
