Park Ridge State School prep students celebrated learning letters on June 21 at their Letterland parade.
Letterland is a program for students to assist with recognising and remember letters and sounds.
Each letter of the alphabet has a character and each character has their own poem.
The prep students have been learning two letters per week since the start of school.
They all had the opportunity to come to school dressed as their favourite letter’s character and walk the catwalk in front of their very excited parents and caregivers.
Teacher Rhiannon Dicken said the parade was a fun way for the students to finish off the term.
“They’ve been working hard all year on their letters,” she said.
