Opal by Living Gems will open a new croquet lawn as the resort nears the sale of its final 26 new homes.
In total, the affordable, over 50s lifestyle resort will have 205 properties when it is finished, which will take up just one third of the 40-acre property.
The wide-open spaces, including a natural lake, create a rural setting not far from Logan Village, and leave room for residents to enjoy an active lifestyle.
The new croquet lawn will complement the myriad of other activities available to residents at the resort, including lawn bowls, indoor bowls, a workshop, arts and crafts clubs, concerts, and board games.

The official opening of the championship-sized lawn will be held on June 28, and will be attended by Logan City Council Division 4 Councillor Laurie Koranski.
“The residents are really looking forward to the opening of the croquet club; while it has been under construction, they have been travelling all the way to Southport and Mount Tamborine,” said Kevin Chapman, Living Gems Opal resort manager.
“Those two clubs have done so much to make our residents welcome, so they are looking forward to inviting them to our own club when it is finished to show them the same hospitality.”
The community that has been established at Opal by Living Gems is a strong one, and is one of the friendliest in the area.
Positioned in the Logan growth corridor, with easy access to Brisbane in the north and the Gold Coast in the south, Opal by Living Gems is conveniently located in a relaxed setting, yet close to city amenities.
