Jimboomba Tennis Club teams are heading into the junior premier league grand finals with high hopes this weekend.
The yellow one and two teams as well as both the green and orange teams will play off against different competitors in four different locations across Logan City on June 17.
Last season the club brought home one premiership.
Head coach Brett Day said the teams had been doing extremely well this season.
“We’ve faced some tough competition and there have been a few close games,” he said.
“I’ve seen a big improvement in the juniors over the last 6 months and the club is growing in participation with internal and external fixtures.”
More than 30 Jimboomba Tennis Club players, aged between 7 and 16, were involved in this year’s premier league.
The league is played for ten weeks.
