Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe has won just about every award there is in the AFL, but there is one record the Brownlow Medallist won't be showing his grandkids.
The 25-year-old wasn't disgraced in the Dockers' 100-point drubbing at the hands of the Crows on Saturday night picking up 25 touches.
However, it was the effectiveness of his display which was called into question with Fyfe now holding the unflattering record for the most clangers in a game in AFL/VFL history.
Fyfe was on track for a clanger record at quarter time with seven errors in the first quarter, while he kept up the pace with 11 clangers to half time.
However, he was able to stem the tide in the second half and finished with 13, including giving away six free kicks.
Fyfe shares the record with former Essendon player Adam McPhee (who played 81 games at Fremantle over two stints) who did it against the Eagles in 2008; and former Collingwood player Heath Shaw who was the first to hit the magic number of 13 against the Roos in 2007.
But Fyfe and his fellow clangers are in pretty good company with Sydney superstar Lance Franklin picking up 12 while playing for the Hawks in 2008, and two-time Brownlow Medallist runner-up and former Eagle Daniel Kerr, also finishing a game against the Roos in 2006 on the same number.
And Crows' ball magnet Matt Crouch, who blitzed the Dockers on Saturday night, also picked up 12 clangers in a game against Sydney last season.
While Fyfe may have not got back to his 2015 Brownlow Medallist form just yet, former AFL coach Terry Wallace's claiming he is nowhere near the player he was since breaking his leg last season is pretty harsh.
"If you think about Fyfe and Dangerfield when they went head to head in that game over in Adelaide (in 2015) and how good they both were," he told SEN Radio on Monday.
"You have a look what Dangerfield is still doing at the moment and where Fyfe is - I think there's a big difference between the two."
Speaking of records, West Coast onballer Sam Mitchell has passed former St Kilda great Robert Harvey for the most 30-plus possession games in the AFL.

The 34-year-old picked up 31 touches in the Eagles' loss to the Giants on Sunday, which is the 119th time the former Hawk has done it.
Mitchell spoke briefly about the milestone in a press conference on Monday.

Harvey sits second on 118, with Gary Ablett on 111 and recently retired Collingwood player Dane Swan on 108.
