The Logan Village under 14s continued to show their skills and their ability as top contenders this season with a win over Rochedale Rovers.
With only one loss so far this season, a number of draws and another win under their belts, they proved on Sunday that they have it in them to make it to the semi-finals.
The match started out with Timothy Angus scoring the first goal at the 16th minute, keeping the Rochedale Rovers scoreless at half time.
Although it was 1-nil, the second half bought out their best and the goals continued to come.
Timothy went on to score another two, Dylan Adams, Cody Saunders and Blaize Longden also fired the ball into the back of the net finalizing the score at full time to take home the win with an impressive 6–2 victory.
With a combination of skilled passing, accurate goal kicking and solid teamwork, they again proved they are the team to beat.
The under 14s are now keen to see what the Southside Eagles will bring when they encounter them at the Falcons home ground this coming Sunday.
The player of the match this week was a deserving Timothy Angus.
Under 12s
In an exciting fast paced game the Falcons drew 3-all with Logan Lightning.
Both sides battled hard all day in an attacking game of football that kept the supporters on the edge of their seats.
Jacob Marks was a midfield general, working tirelessly defending and setting up attacks all game.
Kash Tralora scored all three Falcons’ goals.
Kye Huth was good on the wing and tried hard all day, setting up play with some good crosses and team work.
Will Wiltshire and Seth Ablest were excellent in defence chasing hard and stopping the forwards from scoring.
Their never give up attitude set a good example for the team.
Man of the Match was Kash Trelora with his three goals.
The team this week will be training hard and practicing their team work, passes and goal scoring, getting ready for a tough game against Annerley.
