An injured horse that was isolated and tested for Hendra virus, has returned "negative" results according to Biosecurity Queensland.

The government department would not say what was wrong with the animal for privacy reasons, but confirmed it did not have Hendra virus.
The 20-year-old animal was being unloaded at the Brookfield Show when it slipped and fell, hitting its head and later becoming unwell on Sunday morning.
An update from the Brookfield Show Society said the horse had showed some neurological symptoms upon its arrival and as a result officials took no chances.
"It was because of these symptoms that our full protocols were immediately enacted," a Facebook statement read.
"(This) included isolation of the sick horse; decontamination of all people who had contact with the horse, and we also removed any horse that had any contact at all with the subject horse."
"The incident did not interrupt the exceptional program enjoyed by the thousands of showgoers and re-Inforced (sic) our commitment to a safe family environment."
