CCC president Kathy Smith said she welcomed everyone in Jimboomba and surrounding towns to come along for a great evening out.

“It will be a lovely sit down dinner and then you can dance the night away to Roxbury,” she said.

“We really want everyone to come out and help us continue to help our clients withing the community.

“It will be such a fun night out for a great meal and a great laugh.”

Ms Smith said the chicks had a goal of raising $5000 from the event.

“All the proceeds will go straight back into supporting those in your community who are suffering from cancer,” she said.

“We’ve got 12 tradies – both women and men – who have donated a days worth of labour to help us with this project as we know how valuable these skills are to people.

“Not only do you have the chance to get a bargain tradesperson you can also network with suppliers and community members.”

Builder Mark Kelly, who will be auctioned off, said it was great to be able to give back to the community.

“This is just a fun way to get everyone together so they can help people with cancer,” he said.
