Putting an end to a three-match draw streak, the under 14s Logan Village Falcons took home a win with a 2-1 victory over Capalaba on Sunday.
On Mother’s Day the Falcons were out to impress. Dylan Adams scored at the 45th minute to level the score in the second half with a superstar goal equalizing at one all.
The hunger for the win became strong and the determination displayed by the Village Falcons proved they were out to win.
Blaize Longden executed an impressive cross from the sideline to the centre of the goal which led to an own goal in the 65th minute.
Under 13s
Logan Village Falcons under 13s had a great win against Eastern Suburbs, holding them scoreless 5-nil .
The team played to their strengths passing the ball using triangles to score successful goals. Goal scorers were Max, Jeremy and Louis.
Under 12s
The Falcons remain under 12s undefeated after a 7-nil defeat of Maroondu in a high energy game.
The defence was lead by Luke Bobbermein and Jake Radowski and supported by Isaac Sunn.
The defence was solid and continued to distribute the ball to the midfield, who gave the forwards plenty of opportunities.
Harrison Lederhose scored four goals in a great display of skills, Ben Havers scored one and Kash Tralora scored a double.
The midfield worked hard all day setting up attacks and helping the defenders in a team first display.
Under 11s
Logan Village under 11 Geckos played an intense game on Saturday against South United at Runcorn, losing 3-1.
Under 9s
Showing great determination and skill the Falcons under 9s overcame Greenbank keeping the away side scoreless, leading to a 2-nil victory.
The side is developing some excellent ball skills and teamwork which is improving with each week they play.
Both goals were scored by Zac Hayward with the man of the match going to Marcus Doughan for showing great determination towards the second half of the game.
Under 6s
Great game by the Logan Village under 6 white team against Park Ridge.
All of the team showed great persistence and determination on the field with goals scored by Cameron White.
The team is developing their ability to work together as a team and are constantly improving their balls skills.

Logan Village under 6 yellow team played Park Ridge this week.
For only having four games under their belt the team is improving out of sight.
Their defence today was excellent.
