Children at Hills Early Learning Centre have celebrated Harmony Day by spending the day together learning and playing with children across various age groups.
The students who range from two-month to five-years spent March 21 together in the centre with activities based around inclusion and belonging.
Centre manager Tabitha Donnini said the everyone belongs message of harmony day summarised the centre itself.
“The educators within the centre worked together to collaboratively plan the different learning experiences that the children would be able to engage in,” she said.
“It was wonderful to see the different ways in which the age groups approached the various experiences.
“Not only did the children participate in the experiences, but the older children were helping the younger ones to learn new skills.
“It was an amazing day, and we are excited for our collaborative project days to become ongoing.”
