EXTENSIVE repair work is needed to restore Logan Village Riding Club after it was submerged by flood waters.
While the task is expected to take months, a $5000 grant from the state government could mean efforts to recover are assisted.
Logan MP Linus Power said the grant, available to flood-damaged sporting and recreational clubs, could be used for repairs and equipment replacement.
“I’ve seen some of the damage done to our local clubs from Cyclone Debbie, and the Palaszczuk Government is determined to help get clubs back up and running,” he said.
Club secretary Deborah Eggersdorff said the money would be used to purchase a replacement communal fridge and dressage items.
