MORE than 10,700 homes are without power tonight due severe weather damage and flood warnings have been issued for Friday.
Residents throughout Logan are being advised by council to stay inside and remain off the roads.
During the evening, Mount Lindesay Highway, near Camp Cable Road at Jimboomba was closed due to localised flooding.

Mayor Luke Smith took to social media on Thursday afternoon to remind residents that if it was flooded to forget it.
Logan CIty Council posted on social media informing residents that the Albert and Logan rivers were expected to reach near record peak levels on Friday and Saturday which posed flood risks to properties in the vicinity.
“Albert River water levels are expected to peak at 8am Friday while the Logan River water levels are expected to peak at Maclean Bridge at midnight on Friday night and midday Saturday at Waterford Bridge,” the post advised.
“Water levels downstream are expected to rise to peak levels similar to the 2013 flood event.
“People living with the vicinity of flood prone areas around the rivers are urged to monitor the rising water levels and prepare to take action for their own safety and their families.”
As at 9pm, the SES had eight crews throughout the area and had received 193 requests for assistance.
