SOUTH-EAST Queensland schools that have been closed on Thursday (today), will also be closed on Friday.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk made the announcement about 2pm.
More than 1000 schools from Agnes Waters to the NSW border were closed today.
Ms Palaszczuk warned that the weather conditions were expected to get worse into the evening.
