Holiday boredom is set to be banished across the City of Logan during the April school holidays with holidays activities provided in the council KRANK program.
Activities include skating, hip hop, drumming, cooking, Lego and many more.
Sport and Community Services Committee Chairperson Councillor Steve Swenson said KRANK was a school holiday program for Logan residents aged 5 to 17 years, which offered a variety of free and low-cost activities during school holidays.
“The next KRANK program will run from April 3 to April 8, making it a quick one but a good one too,” he said.
“The program contains a wide range of interesting activities to suit all interests and age levels.
“It offers some great suggestions for both indoor and outdoor activities and I’m sure there will be something to suit everyone.”
April’s KRANK participants can also put themselves in the running to win a Go Pro Hero 4.
Simply photograph a KRANK activity and upload your best picture to Instagram or Facebook by April 16 using the hashtags #KRANKituplogan and #schoolholidays.
All participants are required to complete a registration form for each activity and provide the completed form to the service provider of their chosen activity.
These forms can be downloaded online and a full copy of April program can be viewed at logan.qld.gov.au/krank.
Logan City Council request’s residents ring numbers listed in the booklet coinciding each activity for bookings and inquiries about specific activities.
