RESIDENTS in the greater Jimboomba region might want pack an umbrella if headed outdoors tonight with light rain predicted.
Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Michael Paech said between 10mm to 20mm could fall within the next few hours, but only if the storm activity developing in south-east Queenland near Cangungra reached the area.
He said instability in the upper atmosphere had caused the storms clouds to form, with rainfall predicted for the region tomorrow.
The forecast was made by Mr Paech about 4.30pm on Thursday, March 16.
