A new market will be heading to Yarrabilba with a focus on local producers and fresh food.
The Sunrise Markets will be held on the first Sunday of each month from 6am until 12pm and the launch is set for May.
Organiser Jane Dear said the due to the success of the Mingle Markets she thought a fresh food market would be great in Yarrabilba.
“We have a great space to utilise in the Darlington Parklands,” she said.
“Yarrabilba is a young vibrant area and the markets hope to create a parallel with that vibe.
“I would really like to see anyone living around the area who produces fresh items or grows fresh foods to become involved with the Sunrise Markets.”
Ms Dear said she would like to have a variety of fruit and vegetables, dairy products, baked goods, organic foods or even homemade pet foods, available at the markets.
“Applications are now open for market stalls,” she said.
Dogs on leashes will be allowed at the Sunrise Markets.
