ENJOY the beautiful tunes of the Glad’s Girls at their upcoming concert next month.
The choir will perform at The Centre on March 7 and deliver a musical production following the theme of ‘Sing a Rainbow’.
Musical director Lyn Dickman said guests could expect a great show with a variety of performances.
“There will be a lot of singing by the choir, jokes and skits to enjoy,” she said.
Ms Dickman said this was the first time Glad’s Girls were supporting Beaudesert and Jimboomba Quota and was glad the choir could help raise money for them.
Morning tea will be held at 9.30am before the concert.
Entry costs $10 and proceeds will go towards the Quota organisation.
Glad’s Girls perform concerts every year to raise funds for charities and organisations such as Blue Care, Cancer Council and Uniting Churches.
The choir was founded by Glad Dauth in 1973 who continued singing until the age of 93.
Glad’s Girls are also looking for new members to join the choir.
