Hot Hula stopped by Jimboomba Park on Januray 16 as part of the school holiday KRANK program.
The program was run by teacher Lelani Tahiata for the 15 youngsters ready to dance.
Facilitator Waiana Tagata said it was great to see so many young ones get involved.
“We like to see them up and moving,” she said.
“There is not a breakdown of technical movements with the children, it’s just fun and up beat music and they just move their bodies naturally.
“We base the dances on the Polynesian style movements but it’s to all the songs they know.”
Free Hot Hula lessons are run regularly in the Berrinba Wetlands from 9.30am every Friday.
