Jimboomba under 16s played Kuraby Gold at Wally Tate Oval for a T20 game.
Kuraby won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Jimboomba scored 3 for 120 off their 20 overs.
Best batsmen for Jimboomba were Joshua Schmidt retired 41 runs not out on from 27 balls, Ryan Mitchell retired on 20 runs from 26 balls and Declan Abberton retired on 16 runs from 26 balls.
Kuraby in reply were dismissed for 91.
Best Bowlers for Jimboomba were Tyson Schmidt 3 for 8, Hayden Teese 3 for 17 and Sebastian Lawler 2 for 12.
Under 14s
Jimboomba under 14s hosted Springwood Blue at Glen Logan park on Saturday for a T20 match.
Jimboomba won the toss and elected to bat 1st.
Openers Ben Thurlow and Brayden Hayes started well taking 17 off the 1st over. Springwood persisted and was able to claim the wicket of Brayden Hayes in the 4th over off a very well judged catch by the Springwood Captain Liam Hames.
Arden Coy joined Benjamin Thurlow at the crease and the pair set about upping the run rate.
Some power hitting by Ben Thurlow saw him retire 52 not out off 29 balls which included 6 sixes and 3 fours.
At the halfway 10 over mark Jimboomba were 1 for 80.
Arden Coy retired 32 not out off 25 balls.
Edward Schuller, Thomas Sterle kept the runs moving for Jimboomba until they were both run out.
Brandon Duckworth returned to form and finished off the Jimboomba innings with a well-paced 35 not out off 27 balls.
Jimboomba finished 4 for 152 after 20 overs.
Springwood came out to bat and were able to keep Jimboomba without a wicket until the 5th over thru the bowling of Ethan Hayes and good hands of Lane Hergest.
Jimboomba were able to take 2 more wickets thru the leg spin of Thomas Sterle and the gloves of Ben Thurlow and quick fielding of Brandon Duckworth to have Springwood 3 for 35 after 10 overs.
Springwood continued to bat steadily for the next 10 overs and Jimboomba could only claim one more wicket through Jaycob Hauth.
Jimboomba tight bowling in the last 10 overs saw them restrict Springwood to 4 for 88 after 20 overs and claim the T20 win.
Best bowlers for Jimboomba were Ethan Hayes 1 for 4, Jaycob Hauth 1 for 9 and Thomas Sterle 1 for 8. upping the run rate.

Jimboomba under 10s Gold travelled to Gleneagle on Saturday to play Beaudesert Gold under 10s.
Jimboomba batted first and achieved 7 for 156 after 20 overs. Best Batsmen for Jimboomba were Lachlan 38, Hayden 24, James and Liam 22. Beaudesert in reply achieved 7 for 128 after their 20 overs. Best Bowlers For Jimboomba were Hamish with 2 wickets, Rowan, Hayden, Lachlan, Aston and Liam all took 1 wicket.
