Police are urging witnesses to a robbery with violence in Greenbank on November 8 to contact them.
Initial investigations suggest about 4.20pm a man entered a residential property on Stoney Camp Road, Park Ridge and stole a Nissan utility that was parked in the carport.
The man then crashed the vehicle into a nearby ditch.
The 40-year-old male owner of the vehicle then confronted the intruder and a physical altercation ensued, resulting in the vehicle owner receiving cuts to his arms and chest from what was believed to be a knife.
The man then fled Stoney Camp Road on foot.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180cm tall with black hair, of proportionate build and aged in his early 20s.
He was later seen at a service station on Teviot Road, Greenbank, where he entered a blue Toyota Land Cruiser with Queensland registration 057LQA (pictured).
As the man drove away, the owner of the vehicle tried to stop him, but fell to the ground.
Two dogs were in the vehicle, which is yet to be located.
The Nissan utility owner was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and the owner of the Toyota received a cut to his right hand that required stitches.
