The excitement of the Warriors Summer 7s competition continued on Friday night when the tournament entered its second round.
In the under 10s division the Coyotes faced off against the Nindi Ultrablacks in a tough tussle between two evenly contested teams.
In the under 12s, the Kingies drew with the Raging Bulls who then went onto also draw with the Stormers later in the evening.
This age group will be a tough one to pick a winner from as all teams are evenly matched. The Raptors look like the form team in the under 14s after defeating TMR 7-0 and then getting over the top of the Beauy Boys to claim two wins for the night.
On the main field in the under 16 girls competition it is becoming a hard fought battle between the Bullets and the Emmaus teams.
With each game being played the gap between the two is closing and looks to be a close call leading into the semi finals in a couple of weeks.
In the under 16 boys, out of the five teams the Gellyfishers look like the favourites in the early running but with all teams improving each week it could be a tight run to the finish line and everyone is in the mix.
Round 3 of the competition continues again on Friday night with kick off on the three fields starting at 6pm and with 18 games of exciting Rugby 7s action to be played another enjoyable week will be had.
