Logan Country Safe City Group held a town meeting regarding the Mount Lindesay Highway e-petition on October 15.
Community advocate David Kenny said it the meeting was productive and it was great to host it.
“Linus Power, Jon Krause and Scott Buchholtz as well as local councillors have signed the e-petition,” he said.
“We have about 2000 signatures but we are hoping to make another 1000 signatures before November 1.”
Mr Kenny said Mr Power and Mr Krause were “genuinely trying to find solutions” while listening to the grievances of the community at the meeting.
“They are being engaged and dedicated to trying,” he said.
