Under 15s
It was a perfect day to play football, sun shining, no wind and a great crowd to cheer the girls on.
A fantastic way to end the season! It all started with the team running through a banner for Aliesha Alford's 100th game, and what a game Aliesha played, congratulations!
Under 15s took on Ipswich Cats for their last game for the season for 2016, and finished off with a win.
Ashleigh Hodges played up from her usual under 11 team for the second time this year and she fitted in well with the team.
It was a close game with Ipswich Cats tagging closely behind Redbacks the whole game.
Goal kickers for the game:
Chloe Ackland 2, Marni Balmforth 2, Phoebe Balmforth 1, Isobel Morris 1
The under 15s team have built a strong team from the start of season till now, they should be proud of themselves at all their hard work and their achievements this season, playing in division one and winning against some of the toughest teams.
The likes of Georgia Payne and Keelie Coburn have shined in the back end of the season as they are starting to believe in themselves and it showed on the field!
Congratulations to the whole Under 15's team, bring on 2017.

Under 11
A few weeks ago, the Under 11s were soundly thrashed by today's opponent the Jindalee Yellow’s. Today, they lost by just 4 points 4.2-26 to 4.6-30.
A massive improvement in the defensive and attacking skills by the Redbacks today saw a strong finish with three goals to nothing in the last quarter.
Every player contributed today, with strong defensive tackling, movement through the midfield, and attack at the goals. A super effort.
