Park Ridge State School prep classes were wearing pyjamas on July 22 for their letterland practical learning component.
Letterland goes through all the alphabet with prep classes starting out with a special cartoon character for each letter.
The prep classes are up to letter p, hence the pyjama themed day where they worked on cross curriculum activities such as patterning.
They also made pizza and pancakes.
Teachers Tanya Neilsen and Rhiannon Hando said at the end of the year the prep may have a letterland party where they can dress as their favourite letter character.
“The prep parents are a really supportive bunch and they enjoy the letterland program for their children,” Ms Neilsen said.
“This gives us new and exciting ways to teach our prep students.”
