Bigger hits, more grunt, new songs, more villains, more off field dramas, and some big name off season signings are promised when Rugby League – The musical comes to the Logan Entertainment Centre on Monday, September 5.
The performance is part of a national and New Zealand tour, kicking off in Dubbo in July. I follows cracking runs at the Sydney Comedy Festival and Sydney Fringe Comedy. The Harbour Agency and Frontier Comedy is proud to announce Rugby League The Musical as it tours Queensland.
Rugby League is well known for its larger than life characters, melodrama, villains, farce, betrayals, controversies and pantomime. In Rugby League - The Musical, singer/satirist Denis Carnahan celebrates them all through a dynamic live interactive musical video cabaret burlesque with a bombastic blend of original songs and classic rock/pop parodies.
Denis came to most prominence through his viral and ever-updating hit State Of Origin song That’s In Queensland. He’s written many other songs for ABC Grandstand, Fire-Up! On FBi, Triple M’s Grill Team, Fox Sports, and The Footy Show.
