Goodstart Flagstone was a hive of activity this week, with a special visit from the Queensland Ambulance Service.
The kindergarten aged children had the chance to play with all the bells and whistles in the ambulance.
They all took turns sitting in the seats and laying on the stretcher.
Director of Goodstart Flagstone Kaylene Hayter said the visit went really well.
“One of our staff has recently been in an accident and the ambulance that were at that accident visited us today,” she said.
“The preschoolers have a project currently about ambulances.
“We want our children to have an active role in caring, respecting and supporting community workers and to have relationships with our local communities plus we want to contribute to the futures of these children.
“There has just been so much excitement about the visit, they are still talking about it.”

Ms Hayter said they hoped the visit would facilitate discussion about emergency services at home.
“We are hoping to involve other community workers in our program too,” she said.
