The growing community of Yarrabilba will now have better access to public transport with extra services recently commencing.
Commuting to and from the expanding suburb will now be easier with extra peak period bus services that Having started servicing the area.
State Member for Logan Linus Power said two extra morning and afternoon peak services and two return off-peak services have now been introduced to service Yarrabilba.
“The Yarrabilba master planned community is continuing to experience significant growth due to its attractive lifestyle and it’s important we support this growth with an appropriate level of public transport services.
The new services operated by Logan Coaches, will align with established rail services at Loganlea and Beenleigh in to the Brisbane CBD and will be run in addition to the existing school services for Yarrabilba,” Mr Power said.
Yarrabilba is already home to more than 2,750 residents and extra bus services will provide a new level of convenience not only to daily commuters but also to those reliant on public transport as their sole means of transport to and from school, shops, and social activities.
“I’ve been speaking with residents and advocating for services in the area and this is great news for commuters. I’ve met the drivers and they keen for everyone to get on board,” Mr Power said.
