CUSACK Lane transformed into a Christmas wonderland on Friday night as the Eats and Beats street festival burst to life in Jimboomba.
Thousands packed Jimboomba’s CBD from 5pm as food trucks offering a variety of cuisines threw open their doors and local musicians took to the stage to entertain the crowds.
Christmas trees and lights shone bright as the sun went down, much to the thrill of young and old alike.
Santa also arrived for a special visit.
Division 11 Councillor Trevina Schwarz welcomed the crowd about 6.30pm.
“How great is this,” she said.
“This is our first Eats and Beats in Jimboomba and what a fantastic one it will be.”
Resounding cheers were heard when Cr Schwarz asked if Jimboomba wanted to see Eats and Beats return in the future.
The street festival is the second on Logan’s 2015 Eats and Beats Christmas Festival calendar.
Events are still coming up at the Beenleigh Town Square on December 4, in Browns Plains on December 11 and in Logan Central on December 18.
