IT was a night of glitz and glamour for the Parklands Christian College year 12 cohort on Friday night as it celebrated its 2015 formal.
The students arrived in style at the event, held at the Sirromet Winery at Mount Cotton.
School VET officer Deanne Hudson said the students looked spectacular.
“The theme of this year's formal seemed to be sophisticated elegance,” she said.
“The dresses were lovely with some beautiful colours including emerald green, silver and red, purple and dark cherry.
“The students took the opportunity to arrive in some amazing cars including a Mustang, a BMW, a Rolls Royce and a Cadillac.”
The students dined on an antipasto platter and house-made tortellini for entree, while main was chicken kiev or saltwater cured roast pork.
For dessert, students shared a platters that included chocolate profiteroles, strawberry tarts, chocolate mud cake squares and lemon and lime tarts.
