IT was a night of celebration for Parklands Christian College students Jay Lubach and Marnie Stollznow on Thursday as the pair accepted the school’s 2015 Dux award.
The talented pair, who each achieved the highest academic results of their year 12 cohort, shared their success with family and friends at the school’s awards ceremony.
Ms Stollznow also received the school’s 2015 Christlikeness Award.
Senior College coordinator Rebecca Wallis said Ms Stollznow was a deserving winner of the school’s “highest level of recognition”.
“This (Christlikeness) award is granted to the student who demonstrated consistent CLEAR values throughout the year, which include: Christlikeness, Learning, Excellence, Attitude and Respect,” she said.
Student Jake Price was also recognised on the evening as the 2015 Principal’s Award winner, which is received by the student who has successfully overcome personal or academic adversity.
