The man, who allegedly tested positive to a roadside drug test, was charged with several drug offences.
He was arrested by police from Taskforce Maxima Road Policing Unit.
Taskforce Maxima Acting Inspector Russell Jones said police used a variety of strategies to disrupt the activities of criminal gangs.
“This includes a focused traffic enforcement program which operates in conjunction with criminal investigations,” Detective Acting Inspector Jones said.
“Yesterday’s efforts demonstrates the additional capabilities we have to keep the community safe, particularly in reducing road trauma.”
The 24-year-man was issued with a notice to appear for supplying dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing the proceeds of a drug offence, possessing drug utensils, possessing property used in a drug offence and obstructing police.
