THREE of Greenbank FC's teams confirmed their place in semi-finals for 2015 on Saturday.
The previously undefeated Annerley under 12s division 5 side were given a rude shock as two goals from Greenbank's Jacob Beckton secured a 2-1 win for Greenbank, cementing their spot in the top four.
With one game remaining, Greenbank under 12s can still finish in the top two.
In the Men's Capital League Four Reserves competition, Greenbank FC recorded a 4-1 win over local rivals Logan Village.
A hat-trick to club veteran George Sukker and a first goal for Sam Sisto put the icing on the cake for the Reserves who finished their season with eight wins in their final nine games.
In the Capital Four First Team competition,Greenbank FC were sweating on results in other games and with Brighton and Logan City Kings both losing their games earlier, Greenbank FC needed a win on the final day of the season to confirm their place in finals.
Goals from Sam Sisto, Huy Nguyen, LA Bedia, Mitch McKeown and club leading goal scorer Mathew Redfearn confirmed a 5-1 win over Logan Village.
The win results in the First team at Greenbank FC making the semi finals for the first time since 2011.
Semi finals for all three teams will kick off on the first weekend in September.
