BEAUDESERT Boxing Club will host its annual tournament on Saturday, June 13 at St Mary's Primary School with two State champions getting the chance to fight in front of their home town.
Current state champions Aaron Creighton and Dylan Biggs are raring to go ahead of the tournament which will begin at 4pm.
The pair are among five local boxers will compete on the night, with competitors coming from all over Queensland and the Northern Rivers of New South Wales.
Their fellow club members Shane Goodman and Kyle Toohey will also enter the ring, while Kooralbyn resident, Kalab Gray will be making his debut.
Club trainer Justin O'Leary said the event provides the community with the opportunity to witness some of the best amateur boxers in Australia.
He said he was looking forward to seeing the local community get behind the boxers.
"It would be great for the boys to have the community support as the hometown advantage can really make a difference."
