IDEAS put forward by residents of Flagstone will be used to shape the future of the residential community says developer Peet.
More than 60 residents attended a community workshop on Tuesday, April 28 to hear Peet's plans for development over the coming months and to share their thoughts on what should be included.
Flagstone Community Association president Bob Wiley said it was an "incredibly positive" event.
"People had to opportunity to really speak to Peet about things," he said.
"There was not one negative comment made... the community was really involved, it was great."
Mr Wiley said after an initial presentation on the history of Peet and Flagstone, some of the developer's basic plans for the community were outlined.
"One of the ideas they put forward was for a central community activity hub. What Peet will do from here is collate ideas on what should be included in that," he said.
Peet CEO Brendan Gore said the hub was one of many ideas shared on the night.
"The range of possibilities included a Flagstone Adventure and Activity Hub, that would provide a temporary activity and event space to meet the needs of the community," he said.
"By the end of the evening, the venue was wallpapered with colourful sticky notes capturing a wealth of great ideas for everything from community facilities and activity programs, to place making and events, public art and community development initiatives."
