LIVE music, Santa Claus and fireworks will all be part of the fun at the annual JC Family Christmas carols this Saturday.
JC Family Church Pastor Phil Sharp said the carols had become a much-loved tradition for the Jimboomba area.
"It's got a really good family atmosphere and a good community atmosphere, it brings everyone together," he said.
"Carols are kind of universal, something that everyone can come to and enjoy."
Carols will be led by a choir made up of JC Family Church members and singers from The Music Spot in Browns Plains.
"We've got a really good carolling team that we've develloped over the years," Pastor Sharp said.
Pastor Sharp said the carols had come a long way from their humble beginnings in Rotary Park.
"It started with a flatbed truck and a couple of bales of hay, it had a real country feel. Now it has a professional stage set up with professional lights and a full sound system."
Guest artists will include 10 Days Notice, We Could've Been Kings and Windsor Brass band. There will also be gift giveaways, face painting and a fireworks finale. Jimboomba Thunder will run a sausage sizzle and cold and hot drinks will be available to buy.
The carols are held at Jimboomba Park on South Street, Jimboomba, with entertainment kicking off at 6pm.
In the case of wet weather, the carols will be moved to the JC Family Church on the corner of Tamborine and Merton streets, Jimboomba.
