THE Park Ridge community came together on Sunday night for a fun and festive Carols in the Park.
The intimate sing-along event was organised by Park Ridge South Neighbourhood Watch.
Area co-ordinator David Clifford said the night was enjoyed by all.
"It's a community based, family event," he said.
"Those that turned up had a great time, the kids really enjoyed themselves."
Mr Clifford said a brass band was a lovely start to the evening, while the carols were lead by a local choir.
"The choir is made up of the community, it's just local residents," he said.
"That's the whole point, to allow people who want to to join in and just enjoy singing.
"Those who didn't come along have missed out."
Other highlights on the night included a nativity scene, puppet show, Santa and Rural Fire Brigade trucks.
