A 33-year-old woman has died and several people were injured in two-vehicle traffic crash at North Maclean on Saturday.
Initial information indicates shortly after 1pm two cars collided head-on whilst travelling on the Mount Lindsay Highway between the intersection of Wearing Road and St Aldwyn Road.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a 33-year-old Josephville woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her two passengers, a five-year-old girl and a nine-year-old girl were taken to Mater Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 44-year-old male driver of the other vehicle and his 44-year-old female passenger were also taken to Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
