A TEENAGE boy was arrested at Logan Village after attacking a family member with a Samurai sword.
Both the boy and a 24-year-old man were injured during the attack in the early hours of August 11.
The man received a large cut to his face while the boy was stabbed in the stomach and received cuts to his hands.
The attack happened in a house on Errol Street at Loganlea. The boy fled the scene but was later arrested by police on Rose Farm Lane at Logan Village.
The boy, who has a history of mental health issues, was charged with causing bodily harm, going armed as to cause fear and wilful damage. He will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
The teen and the man received medical treatment for their injuries.
