LOGAN Village Community Hall was a sugar addict's haven on Tuesday as dozens of home-made slices, cakes, muffins and cupcakes went up for taste testing.
Hosted by Logan Country Bendigo Bank, proceeds from the Logan Village bake off will go to the Starlight Children's Foundation, a charity which supports seriously ill children.
Dorren Gagel, who scored the lucky job of taste testing the entries, said she was impressed with the quality and range of entries presented.
There were five categories including carrot cake, cupcakes, muffins, baker's choice and one for budding bakers.
"It was really great to see local people get involved, everyone put a lot of effort in," Ms Gagel said.
Apart from the judges selection of first and second place in each of the categories, a separate prize will also be handed out to the winner of people's choice.
