CAR enthusiasts are revving up to take part in Hills College's annual car show next month.
From 9am to 1pm on August 24 the school's grounds on Johanna Street in Jimboomba will be a sea of cars and motorbikes of all ages, shapes and sizes.
If all goes as planned it will be the first car show at the school in three years.
Wet weather forced the cancellation of the past two car shows so Parents and Friends committee president Scott McNee has his fingers crossed this year will be different.
"There will be something for everyone - market stalls, rides for children, live music, food and drink, as well as a great range of cars," he said.
There will be prizes of trophies, money and gift packs for each category, which include pre and post 1970, best paint work, best in show and people's choice.
Money raised at the car show will go towards various projects at the school, as well as an electronic sign at the entrance to the school.
Tickets to the car show cost $10 per vehicle and tickets to exhibit a car cost $20. To register a car for the car show visit www.jimboombacarshow.com or phone 0415 104 410.
