A 38-YEAR-OLD man was remanded in custody at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday over the attempted murder of a woman at Chambers Flat on Friday night.
Police were called to a house on Wendt Road about 8.10pm to find a 36-year-old woman had been shot twice in the arm with a firearm.
Police allege Beenleigh man Daryl Fields shot the woman during a domestic violence dispute.
The couple's five children, aged four to 14, were in the house at the time and called police.
The woman was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non life-threatening injuries and at time of print on Monday was in a stable condition in the intensive care unit.
The couple was known to police. Mr Fields was also charged with breach of a domestic violence order, unlawful possession of a firearm, common assault, authority required to possess explosives (ammunition), acts intended to main and entering a dwelling with intent.
He is due to next appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on May 12.
